RECOGNITION PROGRAM:
We will honor the women in the NYC area who became licensed between December 2010 and November 2011.
Additionally 1 recently licensed woman architect will receive our Recognition Award. The winner who demonstrates strong leadership skills and commitment to the growth and advancement of our profession, will win a $500 stipend towards travel and miscellaneous expenses at the 2012 AIA National Convention in Washington, DC.
Eligible candidates for the Recognition Award must have achieved licensure between November 2010 and November 2011 in greater NYC. To enter, submit an essay of not more than 500 words describing your leadership role in the professional community, along with 2 letters of recommendation
to wia.nyc+awards@gmail.com by 6pm on November 20. The winner will be announced December 1st during the WIA annual Holiday Party.
